install PS in same case as amp

hello all,
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't seem to come up with the right search terms to narrow the field.

I have recently acquired a Charlize amp and a case to put it in. I plane to use some sore of wallwart like thing to power it. Would there be any problem with gutting a wallwart and installing it in the case with the Charlize amp? I would then put a switch on the outside of the case to turn the power to the wallwart off.

Mark;

It really depends. Stick it in the case and see if you get noise out of the amp. Try and separate the PSU from the amp as much as possible. Use twisted pair wiring where possible and keep excess wire lengths to a minimum.

Listen to the amp then move it outside the enclosure and repeat the test.
