Default Another smps

HELLO,

I have a 2*350w amplifier moduls , and i don't wanna use big iron core transformers , i would like to build a smps for about 900w .
I have search by googXX and i find the a &t lab , with their 1kw smps for k6 amplifier.
I would like to make this one , but i don't like the pcb , it's too big , and the cooper tracks are too closer one to another .
I have a little experience in smps ,i have build a smps for 500w from two pc power supply.
If there is somebody who did a project like his ,i would be very greadful if it will post some information's .

sorry for my english

I wouldnt mess around with a PCB on a SMPS if its tried and tested.
You will need wide tracks to carry the required current anyway.

The layout of the K6 supply has way to small creepage distances, I wouldn't build it!

yes, that's what i'm saying .
And there is a lot of space that isn't used , that smps could be built more compact and with better isolation from primary .

I'm working on a similar 1kW power supply...
UC3846 current mode control vs. SG3525 with average current mode control

Just a remark - at this power level I will always consider a PFC stage in front of converter.
