SMPS for valvular amplifier
Hi everyone, This is pretty fresh so I don't know much about the proyect since the amplifier has not been built yet
I'm suppossed to build a SMPS for a 100W+100W HI-FI (actually they're two mono amps) valve driven amp with 8 OHM speaker output. For what I know, the idea is that the 100W are RMS and audio, so what I want to know is what's the efficiency of this kind of amp, how much power will have to deliver the supply(es) to get 100W RMS in the air, since I've got almost no knowledge about them Now I'm writting this and seeing it maybe will be the hell of a SMPS so it's better to make them two, one for each amp... Regards!!
