you can start with the books
BROWN, M. (1990). Practical Switching Power Supply Design BROWN, M. (2001). Power Supply Cookbook (2nd ed.) Switching power supply design . ABRAHAM I. PRESSMAN |

smps + newbie = bad news.
Average 3-year electronics graduate still cannot design an smps. The information is available through google anyway, or from manufacturers datasheets and application notes. You need to start with building from an existing design. Better to start with a simple chip-amp and/or linear power supply. w |

Elnec,
You can imagine why someone would assume that you are not an electronics graduate. Most electronics graduates would define the problem better than you have. An electronics graduate would also know how to research a problem such as what you asked and not ask such an open ended question for which the replies would be likely as open-ended and lacking value. You have defined +35v, and +-15V. That is like saying I need a car, but not saying whether you need a toy car or a real car. What about input voltage, output currents, output ripple, etc. You will find when you ask clear questions, you will get clear answers. Alvaius |

please dont get urself killed , buy a commercial unit or build a linear power supply, 240 watts off line smps in not something someone should build if don’t know how to keep things safe and how it works, smps is not something some one can master overnight ,

Hi areza
look you need some informations about power electronic . for example : you msut know what's difference between MOSFET , IGBT and BJT And how them drive and work . you must know about PCB designing . just know about EMI . don't busy your brain on detail . i was a man like U in 5 month ago . but now i can design a power unit for myself project . i started with this attached schematic . for the first step in google search , lookfor switch mode power supply or SMPS topology . discoverer is finder |
