Hi,
Some body can provide me circuit diagram for SCR+ Transformer with electronics controlling 12v battery charger batter long battery life & charging even at low voltage 140vAC. (Explain one SCR BTA12 possible operate optocuppler and IC like LM324 circuit control input 220vac output 140vac transformer battery full charge then cut off charge) |

Automatic 12V Lead Acid Battery Charger
http://www.aaroncake.net/CIRCUITS/charger2.asp for longer battery life you need a smart charger , a micro controlled pulse charger is the best way to go, |

Dear saarcgsm,
You don't require scr to construct an intelligent and efficient battery charger and you should not venture in micro controller based charger, when even you are not aware regarding use of scr. Ensure controlled voltage and controlled current and utilize highcut and lowcut for battery voltage with simple zener. I think this simple configuration will be useful for you. In internet, you will get lot of schematics and try to select a proper one. If you want to have controlled voltage even when the input voltage is minimal, you can use ics from manufacturers like texas / linear tech or pi, and these will give you good result. These ics are very much available in Dhaka and not very costly. You have to work a bit. With thanks.
