My (almost universal) power supply
2 Attachment(s)
Hello,
I'm looking for some feedback on a power supply I plan on using it for most of my (low-power class-A and chip) amps. It's a Capacitance Multiplier Power Supply from ESP with some monitoring built-in. I added an LCD, power by trigger and a PWM fan output. However I have some conserns; I'm not sure I can drive a 4pin PWM fan directly from a PIC; even if Intel says it should never sink more then 8mA at 5V(PDF). Is one 7812 (about 1.5Amps; 18w) enough to power both a realy, LCD and a fan safely (read: without blowing up) ? Fire away !:devilr: and thanks ! |
