full bridge circuit help

Hi everyone,
S. G. Mahbub, you had given me the details for gate drive transformer. I wound it but when I connected it to the bridge, I got no output. Since I had problem with MOSFET, I want to use transistor for now. I have got hold of some 450v power npn transistors and want to use them. My question is:
Do I need isolated base drive for transistor or can it be driven directly from my 50 Hz oscillator?

Hi,
Only winding the transformer according to the specification of s.g.mahbub and then connecting it with bridge circuit only will not bring the result. Other things have to be catered for. Find out whether your bridge circuit gets appropriate power required for the mosfets in the bridge after catering all the losses of the transformer and transformer driving oscillator capable of supplying those requirements. Otherwise, you may require additional driver to drive the transformer. Other parameters of the circuit also have to be alright. So, cater all of those to get your expected result. Theory is easier, but practical is tougher and full bridge circuit is require lot of knowledge.
