Hi Everybody,
Pls help to understand the attached boost voltage circuit. I know when the Q1 transistor off, the output voltage will be 11.7v, when the Q1 transistor on , the output voltage will be charge, the output voltage will be boost. However, I wish to know the constant current source (I1) will how to work. What is it's operation and function. How about role it will play in this circuit. Pls tell me your thinking. Thanks for your help . |

GPE,
You have not provided nearly enough information about this circuit in order for anyone to provide any useful feedback. What is the voltage waveform at the base of the transistor, including time and amplitude? What is the value of the current source? What is the capacitor value? What is the load impedance at the output? Rick |

Thanks for your reply and suggestion,
I just would like to understand the Power supply control circuit of Class H amplifier. The output load is a transistor of Class AB. Through judge the amplitude of the input signal to adjust the voltgae of the Power supply so that the whole power dissipation will reduce in the transistor. The attached file will help you to know my meaning. I would like to know the constant current source will supply what function in this circuit. Thanks . gpe. |
