Default Toughness of GZ34?

GZ34 says 750mA max plate short term plate current...has anyone had surge issues on startup drawing more than this? To fire up, my PSU pulls + - 770mA...more of course, but for a max of 3 secs.

Best to go larger or are these tough old birds (20mA ain't much)?
