Hi all,
I'm currently designing a half bridge switch mode power supply, but im not sure the type of ETD transformer that would suit my project, here is the spec of my power supply that i suppose to design: Topology : half bridge Switching frequency : 100 Khz Output power 300 W Input primary voltage +/- 240*sqrt (2) / 2 V secondary voltage +/-55 V can anyone help me what is the power that i can get from ETD cores such as ETD 34 to ETD 44, which suits my spec. Thank You |

for 300W at 100khz an ETD34 core, 3C90 or N67 material is ok.ETD44 core is for 600-1000w output power.

I must admit that I wouldn't try to push 300W through an ETD34, but I tend to be cautious. I would use a 44 myself in N87 or equivalent.

Hi
At 100kHz etd29 should be enough, but to be safe go for etd34 or larger |
