Can someone give me a part number for a Buck Boost regulator chip similar to an LTC3780 in it's package, or DIP would be even better but as simple to use as far as extra external parts like the LTC4607? I dont have any idea how to make a pcb for the '4607 but the 3780 needs a lot of external parts. I saw in CQ magazine, I think it was June 2005, someone built a BBR that I think will meet my needs but I dont have that issue any longer to see what part was used. I need something that will stabilize the output of a solar array so I can feed it into a NiMH charger. I need a lot of current because it is a fast charger for a 14AHr battery pack.
