I am a physics student doing my A level. This is my last year at school and my friends and I want to give to the school a high voltage power supply.We at first decided to buy one but it is too costly around 5000 dollars (including freight and taxes) I can tell that its very costly for us. So we decided to make one and donate it to the school .
We have no idea of how to do it.The input voltage is 240 V 50 Hz and we need an output of 5kV with a current of 1A .
