Power interference on DCX2496

My DCX2496 makes unpleasant noises (skips and pops) when I flip the light switches in the same room.

Any suggestions on some sort of filtering to improve this? Preferrable something cheap.

What type of lamps?
What type of interconnects?
Do you have a small UPS that you could run it on for a few minutes without it being plugged into the wall socket?
While you try the light switches.

Hi,
I ran a DCX for a few weeks and I was never aware of any mains or air borne interference getting through to the output.

What else have you tacked on to incorporate the crossover into your system?
