Hi Dave---just sold my Magneplanars (see pic) as my listening room is only 10x10. I have heard Clark Blumenstein's little MINI's, with 3inch Fostex, and like the imaging and mids of the single driver little box speakers. I have about $450 to play with, and am looking at your "Giving it away" post. Would like to come north and get some speakers, hope's September shaping up for you? Possible??
You are welcome to come up anytime. Just email tomake sure i am here.
Keep in mind that Aug 22 is the 12th annual VI diyFEST.

Thanks! I{ll be in Oregon from 10 Aug to the 23rd. Here's a pic of my small (10x10ft) "music room", with the Maggie 1.4, now sold.
Would like your advice on which of your sale items would best fit this room, I have a good sub so bass no issue. Loved the timbral accuracy and transients of the Maggies, but they overwhelmed the room. I listen mostly to classic---Bach to Mahler. Some small vocal stuff, and solo piano.
Looking forward to a visit!!!
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Any update on what is still available? Despite my best intentions to build a suitable set of speakers for my desk at work, I simply don't have the time or proper tools to get the job done to my satisfaction.
This next Saturday is diyFEST #13, we'll be gathering everything together and i will see if i have anything other than the 2 Woden Baby Labs surplus to our needs.

Ok, great. One question in the mean time: can the surplus Baby Labs (Stingers?) be purchased without the drivers and, if so, what would be the price? I already have a pair of Alpair 6p, so could get by with only boxes.
I’ll have to check on the A6p BabyLabs, but we still have the FF105 BabyLabs. Probably a few other things since then.
I sorta lost track of this thread with my extended hospital stay and subsequent ongoing recovery.
