Ouch. I hate it when that happens (HDD failures that is).

It seems i have managed to recover more or less completely, but it ate up 24 hours and was quite stressful. Thank god for a recent back-up and Data Rescue.

We do loves having our backups fairly current. Glad you were able to recover.
