Default Tang Band W4-1879 in Fonken mkii floorstander

I like the idea of getting a $400 set of drivers for $120.
Has anyone put the W4-1879 into a pair of Fonken Floorstanders Mk ii?
Just thought I'd ask. I compared them a bit on paper, I can probably cut out the larger diameter required with a rotary tool.

Micheal,

Given how tightly tuned for the 'Kens are, it is unlikely to work optimally in FS2.

It may work OK in a similar box. I'll do more work on it when i get our set.

You do know to order PE stuff from Bob at CSS? If you hurry we may be able to get them posted from Abbottsford together and save a bit of post.

Where can you get the TBs for that price? I saw them at Parts Express, but they're sold out. Any tip would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe the sale was to clear them out -- the big brother driver seems to be discontinued.

I did snag a pr at the sale price, sole purpose to see how they work in Frugel-Horn Mk3. At some point that pair will likely be up for grabs.
