It uses an XO with HP & LP (1st order). Active (PLLXO) was pretty simple, passive is more work.

Here's some more photos.

In the first photo I still had the driver masked off for finishing. It is not some kind of amazing grille cover for the speakers...

I had to do this because I ended up with such a tight friction fit that I cannot get the drivers out! Totally a mistake on my part. I think my jasper jig must have shifted slightly towards the pin setting for this cut out and so shaved a tiny bit of DIA from the hole. I'll have to be more careful next time.

I had them running with a TA2024 from Ebay, VERY happy with the sound.

Any difference you find in the sound vs a standard MarKel-70 (which also sounds great)?

The sound is very similar. They have a very satisfying low end.
