The pensil is an ML-TL derivative. The critical dimensions are length, cross-section, Zd, and terminus area. To bring the driver height up would require "stands"

Beautiful job with the pleather! I've always loved that on cabinets ever since my car audio days finishing custom cabs in vinyl.

7/8" walnut, I filled the knots on the side panels with two part clear epoxy and then sanded them smooth.
