Magnat Plasma MP-02 Electrode and other

Hi,


somebody knows what was the original electrode of Plasma Tweeters of Magnat model MP-02?

And what kind of material is it possible to use instead of the original?

Another question always on MP-02:

on the rear of the box there are 2 set of connector :
why?
perhaps because one set is the input of full range signal adn the other the output for mid-low for yhe mid-woofer?

Tungsten.

Probably Tungsten.
You can get Tungsten rod from the welding supply company.

The Magnat schematics may be on this site, do a search.
I know I have seen them online.

ja, wolfram kann man nehmen, aber es hat den Nachteil, dass es als Katalysator wirkt wenn es glüht. Dadurch wird mit der Zeit die Oberfläche rauh und muss nachbearbeitet werden. Ich nehme jetzt Silber, das oxydiert nicht und es bildet sich keine Schlacke. Für den MP-02 wird ein Draht von 5mm Durchmesser richtig sein, unter passend gedreht mit der nut

jes, one can take tungsten, but it has the disadvantage that it works as catalyst if it glows. Thus will with the time the surface roughly and must be worked over again.
I take now silver, oxidized not and it form no cinder. For the MP-02 a wire turned by 5mm diameter to be correct,the lower part should be as formed as the original. It is also possible to regrind the old electrodes.
