Hi Guys,
I have been considering a pair of RD -75's. 1 is described as open CCT - with cause is unknown - so being less than optimistic, I am also unsure about the second unit. While it's the preferred option - freight to the factory and back for re-film, is not economic for 2 units, and marginal for 1. Does anyone have any thoughts/experience with DIY replacements? Not sure if it's a project I should consider - or if it's possible? - and a little difficult to conceal from the boss if I can't deliver ;-) I have a couple of ideas, but not sure on the construction of the diaphragm? or the method used to suspend/tension it, so my thoughts are a little premature – and groundless (read potentially stupid) Appreciate any comments/suggestions/insight. Thanks Tony |
