Here is a direct drive thread:
Direct drive amp schematic

A second question if it is allowed to expand the topic:
Does anybody have the schematic of the Lundahl magamp? I ask myself whether it is possible to build a high voltage version with selenium diodes.

I have another quick question (sry it doesent really relate much to the thread title). Are there any formulas for stator spacing, wire sizes, voltages ect.

Brian Beck's extreme example, direct drive no stepup parallel 833 bridge SRPP amplifier, with + and - 4000V rails. 4 833s per channel. Drives Quad ESL-63s.

Be sure your foil hat has a good low impedance ground.
