Interesting. The manufacturer is not that far immediately north of me. I wouldn`t mind hearing what they sound like. Not a potential customer though, I have already acquired my dream speakers by my own design and they are really high efficiency opening the door to use with SET amps.

These magnetoplanars need a lot of power (according to the manufacturer`s website) so that rules out most SET amps.

Since the loudspeaker is the source of most of the distortion in a system, these could be very good on a quality sand amp or tube amps with lots of large bottles.

The price is very nice and I think it should be better speaker than Magnepan. Maybe I am wrong.

Yes SET and high efficiency attracts me much. I would like to build second system like this.
