Does anybody know a good crossover between these units?
Just to give me a quick start, final crossover will be tuned further. I want to use them open baffle. |

I too and intrigued by the Neo 3 and Neo 8. Have you progressed on this speaker combination? Please let me know.

I'm working on a speaker with a Neo3, two Neo8PDR's and a Scanspeak 25W. Filter middle/high will be passive and low / middle will be active.
I have the wood in house and first parts are glued to getter. |

Yep, I'm interested too.
Don't know where but I think I've read somewhere that someone was using the 8 from 400Hz up to 5kHz, where the 3 takes over. |

I was think about 600hz 24db active and 5khz -6db passive. First tests looked promissing.

How is the sound of the Neo 3?
I have an very old heavily modified T120 K in the ML-TQWP's, might replace it. But to be honest, i want an all new diy speaker.... ![]() I have made a quick design with a d'appolito around a dipole radiating Neo 3, and two alu mid bass drivers. A 60 degr. cone on backside of Neo helps radiating the sound through room. And as you see in avatar, made some 360 degrees radiating tweeters from simple dome's too.

Jeroen, are you thinking about bi-amping the final speaker or didi you use the 4th orde active x-ver just to test the performance of the NEO8?

I'm going to use an amp for low and an amp for mid/high. Low is divided form mid/high via an active -24db Thel filter and mid and high are divided passively.
