I have tried increasing the resistor value in series with the low freq. transformer to 3 ohms, this did not reduce the lower bass much at all. When I get some time I will try the different transformer primary taps to see if that works better on the lower bass. Thank you to everyone for all the suggestions! Take care, Doug |

Hi,
"Don't fix what isn't broken" ESLs can reproduce really clean and undistorted bass. Should't you just roll of subwoofer earlier ? That's my suggestion. |

Oh, the sub runs off the speaker lines??
Too bad. You could open it up and make it line level? The resistor in series reduces the highs, or so I am led to believe... The main change in the HF sections freq roll in is/was the caps. _-_-bear
