Does anyone know of an Acoustat X interface to use that speaker with other amps. - either ready made or for DIY?

Acoustat MK-121 interfaces show up for sale on ebay from time to time, from the old Acoustat model2, model3, model4 or 2+2s and can be wired for "3 panel wide" operation to drive X's with the amp of your choice (should be stable into 3-4 ohms)
