Default Dahlquist Electroacoustic Transducer

Just in case you have not seen this patent by Dahlquist number 4,020,296 USA.
Discribes a transducer where the electrical conductors are mounted over the radiating area of the movable diaphragm. Electromagnetic forces exerted upon the diaphragm are linear throught the entire excersion of the diaphragm.
Very interesting read check it out. Kind of like an electromagnetic driven ribbon. Regards Moray James.

It's an old patent and, AFAIK, not exploited by the inventor. In any case, it's long expired, so anyone who finds it interesting is perfectly free to pursue it.
