heil amt replacement diaphragms
thanks to those who put me on the right track in obtaining new heil units...A few ?'s remain re the life of the AMT DIAPRAGMS used in my ESS AMT MONITORS...they are now 24 years young and still going well (the new ones are on order just in case) ...do the d/phragms degrade over time as woofer foams do? Any one got any clues..I must say my units still look and sound as they did when they were new in 1980...they are teflon coated...I also note that the HEIL AMT is being manufactured by a few companies around the world..
