Imaging got better, soundspace larger. i used the woofers (XO @ 125 Hz) ever before i converted... they allow the removal of the felt strips on the back (there to limit panel excursion ans midrange/top end clarity).

You need woofers that go way up... my enclosures were aperiodic (i just tweaked the boxes they came in) and maybe got to 35 Hz, but were good to maybe 2-3k.

They're really baboon-butt ugly. My drinking/cooking partner is building me a nicer set of frames since he can't stand looking at these.

1/137 - you move around about as much as I do,..audio on the fly!..woohooo! Am packing and getting amps and speakers crated for yet another move,..soooo much fun! The X's I have are a challenge. Good luck with your panels, from one Acoustat owner to another.

Default II + II's

I really hope to be listening to them soon....

Moving 10,000 pounds...mostly books + electonics is not fun..

But..I would like to try adding 'wings" to the II + II's
