Default Acoustat "2+2"s for sale in Toronto, Canada

I am regrettably selling my Acoustats as I no longer have space for them. They were originally Model 4s and were reconfigured in the 2+2 format. If anyone in the Toronto Canada area is interested, they were posted on Kijiji.ca on August 13, 2016.

I am also selling my friend's pair of Apogee Duettas and they will be listed shortly.
Thanks,
Lloyd

Hi Lloyd, could you provide a little info on the conversion? Was it a factory mod? Thx.

Default Details

Hi,
No they were not a factory mod. At the time I was a retailer of Acoustat products and was very familiar with the design. I converted my own Model 4s to the 2+2 configuration by making my own frame and base. The small number of hardware components were made professionally by a local precision sheetmetal manufacturer. Of course the Model 4s had a mix of 8" and 9" panels so that is what is in mine. The interface was the same as the 2+2s.
