I purchased a pair Acoustat Model 6 speakers 2 years ago. It has been working satisfactorily after a through cleaning process.
I love the sound compared with my Magnepan 20.1 and also my friend's 20.7. Knowing there are almost 20 years old and won't last forever, I am looking buying some spare 3-wire panels just in case I need it.
There are two different panels used in the model 6, the middle ones are slightly narrow than the rest of them, but all 3-wire panels. I believe the same panels are also used in other models as well.
