Default carver ribbons?

Has anybody come up with a satisfactory solution for replacement ribbons in the ALS Plats? I have two pairs of these speakers and am trying to bring one pair back to life. Looks to be cheaper to buy a working pair that it is to try and get the ribbons for them...

Check-out the Bohlender-Graebener RD48 Planar Transducer, which was specifically designed as a replacement for the Carver line-source transducer.

Appears to be a direct, bolt-in replacment for the planar-magnetic driver in the Carver Amazing Loudspeaker product series.
