Default jbl 175

a jbl 175 is tweeter right? i know they say compression driver i just curious as i don't quite understand what they're for i paid 50bucks for the singuler one i have thats missing is name plates wax seals are intact works from testing it

forgive my stupidity
i ask as i "accedently" tossed my peezo's
