I have four Pro LX-550's and a Linaeum Center channel speaker. I burned one out two years ago. Since they are about 10 years old, I am worrying that the ferrofluid needs replenishment. From what I saw, they can't take much power without it.
There are some notches on the bottom that look they might be where the fluid might go.
Anyone know how to do this job ?
BTW, I am looking for an ET-19 Linaeum tweeter replacement. Else it may be two Vifa OC25SC65-04 (4 ohm) tweeters back to back in series, then the capacitor adjusted for a 5Khz 6db 8 ohm crossover. About the best substitute I can find that will fit.
