After messing around with neo8's and neo3's, I still find the transparency of the BG rd75 is very good. If it could just reach down a little lower with good dynamics, it would be a very convenient solution for 200Hz-15kHz.
Has anyone experimented with putting it in a very large horn? - it would look essentially like this http://www.bd-design.nl/forum/images...98a9a3ae47.jpg but with an RD75 in the middle. The precise interface of the waveguide where it meets the driver will be quite important - for instance if it reaches inside that little 45degree bevel or not. Hence I'm interested if anyone has tried this. |
