I realise it's not a DIY speaker but does anyone know anything about this speaker? I'm not associated with the seller. Just curious.

Well, It makes me wonder if they are even Electrostat's at all.
I have seen these pictures before many years ago,But I don't remember the details about them. Electrostat's aren't normally made to be hung on the wall either but they tried a lot of things back then. I don't see a power cord for the bias supply,But I guess it is possible that they could have used a self biasing technique,something else that does not work well. jer ![]() P.S. I just saw that they have changed the page on EBAY as they are not ESL's
