Default MG 3.6R tweeter replacement

Is the ribbon "one track" or divided into several flat wires?
If you have experience making your own tweeter in question, I'm happy to to learn all about the "how to" process.
Thanks in advance.

It's one track.

It's one piece of 2.5 micron thick aluminum that has been corrugated for additional stiffness laterally. The ribbon is glued to the ceramic magnet strips with small blobs of glue every inch or so. The Al strip does not touch the magnets.

If you search on the web there is a considerable amount of information available on this tweeter.

If you have one of these and need to have it repaired, the Magnepan people have an excellent swap/ replacement policy.
