Dayton Audio AMTPRO-4 Air Motion Transformer Tweeter 275-094
.... maybe not as good as the Mondorf ..... but hard to beat that price ....

How do you make the folds keep their shape during the baking?

I have not tried the Tool yet.I will use 6-7mmX 0.7-1mm.steel or alu plates in betwene the wires.
The diaphragm shown is made from my 12/12my. sample. It is only 70mm. long/high .
The factory will ship my 7/15my. X180mm film after the Chinese Hollyday, starting at 1. Oktober.
The Tool is made with M6 tread,with 1mm increase.If you use M8 it is 1,25mm. M10 is 1,5mm.

Perhaps some form of egg slicer technique could be used:

^ may work IF it was shaped into a V so the folds start in the center. Or another way would be to start at one edge. Otherwise the tension would be quite high dragging the film through possibly damaging it.

I can ask. Normally they do want to sell in large quantities ,and sell only small numbers, when its for sample units. But some companies are more flexible.
In case they agree, i would offer them for us$ 200,00 the pair, plus shipping.
