The frequency response is very interesting if you compare it with the normal Neo 8 and the Neo 10. You can see response irregularities that are similar to the Neo 10's, that don't show up on the Normal Neo 8's. Notice the hiccup at around 5.25khz(Probably due to the thicker metal basket and larger magnets). They also appear to have a much better low end response than the normal Neo 8's.

Reason being is that the graphs are geared mainly towards the professional market..

Are you refering to the graph in the Neo10 spec?
What's the price of the Neo8S, same as the old one? If so, it seems like a better purchase than the Neo10 considering it's half the price and one wouldn't need a separate tweeter, right? |
