Hi, I have a couple of faulty Final 0.5 panels, one has just begun to spark near the botton corner along the long edge, the other has a "blown" energiser, this appears to be an overheated component within the resin potted unit. The 2 units are from different pairs, the pair with the spark fault have 12v wallwarts and the blown energiser has a 240v mains supply. How can I repair/replace the panel/energiser. Thanks.

hi, i have recently repaired these had to fit new mylar film ,mine have the wall type psu cant help you with that but the noise you are hearing is probably arcing between the stator panels if there is a slight gap anywhere you will hear this sound remove panel from frame work and apply some good tape around the frame work hold the two frames together tight as you apply the tape to close the gap and that should be ok,if they have not been repaired before then the two panels will be glued together so you wont be able to take them apart without fitting new film.
