Interesting I have not seen that one before I have checked on Sears for the last few years for something like that with no results.

If you can get one it would be worth trying out.

It says that it can be had for about $30 and they claim that it is marked down from $180.

The powder now seems to be available at Sears which I did not know, as harbor freight just started carrying it as well.
It is either some thing very new or a short lived product.

The link states Wai but when I clicked on it to find some details it took me to amazon and described one that looks just like it from craftsman.
I can't seem to find any detailed info on it or reviews, just that you can get it from amazon.com and not from sears as the are the soul craftsman supplier.

So beware.

In the demo pictures I see no ground wire that is required to connect to the part in order for it to work.

Eastwood sells a system for $100 and is proven with many good reviews.
And has its own HV power supply that is separate and is required for powder coating to work.
Now that the powder is readily available I am going to try to either build my own gun or a vat dip method system to coat my stator material.

First I will start out small with your average kitchen oven and then I will build a larger oven if I start doing large panels.
I thinking of maybe a conveyor belt system like a pizza oven as the stuff only takes a few minutes to heat up and flow out.

Good find !!!

I just watched a demo vid on youtube and there is indeed a wire that you clip on piece being coated.

I'll be ordering one when I gey home from work. Can't beat the price even if it eventually breaks.

Yeah, I have a HF store near me, but I don't own a compressor and don't have anywhere to keep one. I'm just going try the Craftsman deal and see how it works. If it's junk, I can use it's parts for other projects.

Comments about Chicago Electric Power Tools 10-30 PSI Powder Coating System:
Easy to use and with new plastic hybrid paint, I use an infared heater to cure. Oven size is not an issue this way. There are many colors, candies and clears out there now.

Will do. Just ordered it, but from previous experience with Amazons "standard" shipping service, I don't expect to see it for a looooong time.

Guess I should swing by HF and pick up some powder.

I wish you luck as I was searching they said that it was out stock.
I am going to try the DIY method as I have everything that it takes to do it.
I figured it would be simple,But by those pictures it is incredibily simple.
Please do tells us about your result when you get!
