I want to share this link for all those who are looking for an active crossover factory reconditioned for $99.00...I couldn't build one that cheap, and typically the case would sell for nearly $50.00, and it is also warranted for 2 years.
Mine just arrived so I can confirm the site is not only legit, it also arrived in three days, they are however located in Georgia. The specs indicates the circuts is constructed utilizing the Filter type: Linkwitz-Riley, 24 dB/octave, state-variable. The link below will take you to the site. I have one of those. It's dead quiet and sounds superb. The only reason I'm not still using it is that it's only a two-way and when I added the Ripole subs I had to upgrade to a 3-way.

Hey Charlie,
I believe it should work with my set-up. I just ordered a BIC F-12 Sub,and picked up an ADCOM preamp and poweramp to deal with the High current these ESL seems to works best with. |

Here some specs on that amp.
It should work very well with ESL's for normal listening as it delivers decent power and scales up nicely when running into 2 ohms. Adcom GFA-535 power amplifier Measurements | Stereophile.com http://www.kenrockwell.com/audio/adcom/gfa-535-ii.htm jer
