Another stupid question I didnīt stumble upon an answer so far...
Does it matter to use either single conductor wire or stranded wire? Any difference in the magnetostatic field strenght? Stefan |

Did anyone try enamelled copper wire so far? Would the the electric strength be big enough?

Well, I thought about that as well, but wouldn't the enamell crack when stretching the wire?????

I have tested Kynar coverd wire wrap wire with great results of no arc through to above 10kv.
But I haven't built a panel with it yet,when I was going to try then prices started to skyrocket back in 03 and 04. As I used to get rolls of it fairley cheap at Radio Shack,But not any more! jer |
