Hi,
I'm interested in open baffle dipole speakers build. I choose the Bohlender Graebener RD40 Planar Transducer (Parts-Express.com:*Bohlender Graebener RD40 Planar Transducer | rd40 planar tweeter ribbon tweeter planar transducer) My question is: can i use a double specular horn (like tactrix one) on that driver to take advantage of dipole configuration? (somethings like the image attached) thank you in advance

Yes,
I would think it would increase your listening distance , so make sure you have the space , figure 4-5 ft off the back wall and 14-16 ft from the drivers.. My past experiences of doing such , does make for a fixed head in the vice listening experience , regards, Last edited by a.wayne; 30th November 2009 at 03:36 PM. |
