Sure, but if done right, it should be ok
The bearing film of a long line source has drawbacks too I dont how much it matters how high impedance is transformed But I would expect that its best to work with lowest possible impedance Maybe a combination of a long line source, and a plain ribbon foil without bearing film, with just a small transformation of impedance of say 2-3ohm Or maybe we should try and copy the advanced RAAL omni If you make it high enough. theres no need of transformer Last edited by tinitus; 5th October 2009 at 10:00 PM. |
