Hygeia - RD-500 or RD-1000 ?

I think about using this in a 2-way setup with x-over at apprx. 600 Hz

I asked them for a price, which was $240.00 / Unit. The frequency response on their homepage might be influenced by their baffle, but I do see that they use an extra high-freq tweeter in their hifi-systems like:

If I need an extra tweeter, then this is not relevant for my purpose/idea

Have anybody heard of the RD-500 or the RD-1000?

They are made in China , take it with a grain of Soy Sauce

You don`t need extra tweeters for these two planars, only some RCL correction to tame the presence region.
RD 1000 will give you a taller vertical dispersion, but might need a little more XO fine tuning.

I have digital correction, so the correction part is really easy for me ;-)

Have you heard or measured the RD-500 or RD-1000 also?

Unfortunately I have not tried them, but the bigger one seems quite promising and useful.
