I have Quad 989s. Having read a lot about Earl Geddes theories on multiple subs (with any speakers) that's the way I'm going. Search for the multiple subs thread.

i think multiple subs with the same driver would work...but different types would just make the sound muddy. You wouldn't use multiple full range drivers in the3 same speaker now would you?
