Hi,
I received a request for replacement of a ML Quest diaphragm. I do not have experience with this speaker, nor do I want to get experienced right now. Is anyone on this forum (Calvin?) interested in doing this repair? You should be located in or near the Netherlands and have experience with Martin Logans. Thanks. |

Hi,
I don´t have the thick film material at hand the Quest uses (12µm). If I´d do it it ´d be rather a upgrade to a purist quality panel with thinner membranes. But this would mean a not-original panel with better but different parameters to the ML-Original. This would very probabely mean to have to design the bass new too. I don´t know of anyone in Germany who services the panels so that they reach original quality (some promise they can do it, but I still have to come across one serviced panel that holds up to the promise). You might forward the request to me.....maybe we can find a good solution. jauu Calvin |

Hi Calvin,
Can you drop me a message how to contact you? You don't seem to accept e-mail through this forum. |

It is my understanding that you can get replacement panels (upgraded) directly from ML, and that they are not hard to replace.
