I'm new to the forum and have a question similar the one posted by horchem1972. I'm not quite ready to jump into speaker building, so I'm tinkering with the idea of modifying (upgrading) the 15 year old definitive technology Bp 30s that I have. I feel that they lack mid range. I'm sure that room acoustics play a big roll here, but I'd like to swap out the original speakers and use them in my first DIY project down the road. Has anyone ever tried this, or have any suggestions?
