Ok so after some experimentation with placement on the Fostex panel speakers I have found a spot where they have decent imaging, bass.
I tried a Chesky test cd for polarity, imaging ect and noticed that on sound stage test he moves from a center image to the far left/right in three increments. My speakers image to the right/left, then one more step over, but at the farthest increment, the image seems to move closer to the center again? This happens on both sides so it is equal with both speakers. Any thoughts? Everything else seems to check out ok. Thanks Peter |
