Raven Replacement Ribbons
i only see replacement ribbons for R1 and R2 on sale (at e-speakers)
am i to assume that replacement ribbons for Raven 3.2MMX and Raven Point Source are nowhere to be found ? there is no way i would ever use such an expensive tweeter with such a fragile diaphragm if replacements aren't available. and yet R1 and R2 are the least interesting of the four models. help ? |

Al foil
I used the Raven R-2 in a commercial product, never had much of a field issue with the ribbons proper.
Having said that, I also made more than my share of ribbons for the R-2 with 0.0005" and 0.00025" foil. The 0.0005" foil wasn't too bad, the 0.00025" foil was a real PITA. Cyclotronguy |
